Centris Residential Sales Statistics — June 2026
Montreal and Quebec City Census Metropolitan Areas (CMA)

Île-des-Sœurs, July 3, 2026 – The Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers (QPAREB) today released its data for June 2026. The latest residential real estate market statistics for the Montreal Census Metropolitan Area (CMA) and the Quebec City Census Metropolitan Area (CMA) are based on the provincial Centris database of real estate brokers.

Montreal CMA

During June 2026, real estate brokers completed 4,012 residential property transactions, an 8% decrease compared to June 2025. The supply of properties available on the market rose for the eleventh consecutive month, with 20,894 properties for sale in the Centris system (+17%).
Quebec City CMA

In the Quebec City metropolitan area, 903 residential sales were completed in June 2026, a 12% increase. For the third consecutive month, the number of active listings increased, this time by 23%, with 2,170 residential properties on the market.
