Centris Residential Sales Statistics — September 2025
Montreal and Quebec City Census Metropolitan Areas (CMA)

L’Île-des-Sœurs, October 2, 2025 – The Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers (QPAREB) today released its residential real estate market statistics for the month of September 2025. The most recent market statistics for the Montreal and Quebec City Census Metropolitan Areas (CMAs) are based on the real estate brokers’ Centris provincial database.

Montreal CMA

Residential sales in the Montreal CMA reached 3,520 in September 2025. This is an increase of 11 per cent compared to the same period last year. This result is well above historical benchmarks, with approximately 620 more transactions than the average for September over the past 25 years.

Quebec City CMA

Residential sales in the Quebec City CMA territory totalled 819 in September 2025. This is an increase of 7 per cent compared to the same period last year. This level of activity is well above past results, with sales more than 50% higher than the historical average for September since 2000.
