L’Île-des-Sœurs, March 12, 2020 – Nathalie Bégin, president of the board of directors of the Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers (QPAREB), announced today that she is resigning as president and member of the board. She is stepping down for professional reasons.
“The directors join me in warmly thanking Ms. Bégin and highlighting the great commitment and many efforts she made to bring the provincial association project to fruition,” said Julie Saucier, president and chief executive officer of the QPAREB. “Ms. Bégin was co-chair of the QPAREB’s transitional board of directors when it was created on January 1, 2019, following the merger of the Greater Montreal, Quebec City and Laurentides real estate boards. She then became president of the QPAREB board of directors in April 2019.”
As provided for in the QPAREB’s statutes and bylaws, Anouk Vidal, vice-president of the board, will serve as interim president until our annual general meeting on April 28.
