Centris Residential Sales Statistics — September 2024
Montreal and Quebec City Census Metropolitan Areas (CMA)

The Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers (QPAREB) today released its residential real estate market statistics for the month of September 2024. The most recent market statistics for the Montreal and Quebec City Census Metropolitan Areas (CMAs) are based on the real estate brokers’ Centris provincial database.

Montreal CMA

Residential sales in the Montreal CMA reached 3,201 in September 2024. This is an increase of 18 per cent, or 489 transactions, compared to the same period last year. Note that this level of transactional activity is above the historical average for this time of year since the Centris system began compiling market data in 2000.

Quebec City CMA

Residential sales in the Quebec City CMA territory totalled 771 in September 2024. This is an increase of 25 per cent, or 155 transactions, compared to the same period last year. Note that this level of transactional activity is above the historical average for this time of year since the Centris system began compiling market data in 2000.
