L’Île-des-Soeurs, January 18, 2024 – At the dawn of a new year, the Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers (QPAREB) proudly reminds us that the 14,000 brokers it represents are committed to representing the best interests of their clients, by prioritizing transparency and offering customized assistance every step of the way.
Some sensational and marginal stories were reported in the media in 2023, but it is important to mention that they in no way represent the day-to-day work of the vast majority of our members. Brokers offer high-quality professional services in compliance with the law, regulations and professional ethics. They are professionals who have their clients’ best interests at heart, as evidenced by a 90% client satisfaction rate according to a survey conducted by Léger.
With the Real Estate Brokerage Act, Québec has the most tightly regulated real estate brokerage industry in the country. At a time when real estate transactions are becoming increasingly complex, choosing a broker is not just about guaranteeing the success of the transaction, but also about opting for an approach based on security.
At the start of 2024, we are reaffirming with conviction the serious commitment of our members to their clients,” says Marc Lacasse, President of the QPAREB Board of Directors. Opting for the services offered by our members means ensuring a successful real estate experience, combining expertise and peace of mind!”
